Pray for Silence is the second Kate Burkholder novel written by Linda Castillo. Kate is a small town police chief in Amish country who left the Amish community when she was younger. She has special insight into the Amish way of life and is able to use that when tragedy strikes the non-violent community.This book focuses on a particularly vicious murder of a total family. Kate uses all her skills to track down the killer.
Linda Castillo's writing is spot on and I look forward to reading more of her work in the future!
